The Gallery

The Simpsonville Fine Arts Gallery is located at 106 W Curtis Street in Simpsonville, South Carolina, near the clock tower. The gallery spans 1,850 square feet and features a gift shop along with six private artist studios. It is open from 11 AM to 5 PM, Tuesday through Saturday. The gallery showcases a wonderful collection of artwork by 20 talented artists.

Joe Lowery opened the Simpsonville Fine Art Gallery in Simpsonville, SC in October 2024. His journey into painting began in 2017 when he took a colored pencil drawing class in Greer with his granddaughter. ” Encouragement is something Joe hopes to emphasize the most with his gallery. “Before I got into painting, I had no idea what the art community was like. It’s wonderful to be a part of it, and this gallery makes me even more connected,” he explained. “I want the area to have a space for artists to display their work. It’s a place for everyone to enjoy.”

We support working visual artists in various ways, including hosting exhibitions of their exceptional work. The primary focus of the gallery is to showcase quality fine arts and fine crafts, providing our customers with a unique opportunity to interact with masterpieces and purchase art from skilled artists. This open-call event invites submissions in all mediums, including paint, photography, fabric, multimedia, sculpture, mixed media, poetry, and more. The theme of the exhibition is “OPEN.” Artists from all backgrounds are encouraged to submit their best and most recent work. Please use the link to submit your artwork along with a brief background about yourself.

Looking for a space to rent where you can create your art? We offer affordable studio space for rent to support the artist community and foster creativity in a peaceful environment. Our studio spaces are climate-controlled and provide convenient 24-hour access. We have the perfect, well-sized, well-lit art studio which includes a place to store extra items, classroom space for teaching or spreading out. Artists working in various visual art mediums, including photography, painting, drawing, digital art, encaustics, fiber arts, textiles, mixed media, and jewelry making, are welcome to apply for a studio.
